Haha, I was saying um in english alot and AND in chinese alot. It feels so weird seeing me like this. (Even though I still say these 2 words alot)

ReplyDeleteIt is a challenge when I try to have a conversation with my mother sometimes because she only speaks in Mandarin, I have to stop and think what the words are that I want to use. I am worried that my English is better then my Mandarin.

Learning English was very hard when I first came to NZ. It felt good to speak Afrikaans with my family when I got home from school. Now I feel confident in speaking two languages. It is important to charge the mountain and never give up. Ek gaan vra die berg nie moed opgee nie. Hanjeli
